This is a charming old octagonal ashtray by Moorcroft Pottery, Burslem, England. 

The center of the ashtray features the rose-colored anemone flower.  The ashtray's coloring goes from a delicate turquoise blue at the base to a dark green tone upwards. 

The bottom of the ashtray is marked "Moorcroft Made in England" (please see photo below).

The ashtray is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations.  There is a tiny glaze micro-burst under the bottom of the ashtray rim (please see photo below), and there is some of the usual crazing often found in these older Moorcroft pieces.
