Source: Heacock, William and Fred Bickenheuser (1978), Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, Book 5, U.S. Glass from A to Z.   Antique Publications: Marietta, OH.

This handsome Palm Beach marigold carnival glass whimsey bowl with 4 sides pinched in was made by the U.S. Glass Co., circa 1910s to early 1920s.

This bowl is scarce.

Condition.  The bowl is in very good condition save for some iridescence rub or wear along the upper rim (this rubbing seems to be endemic among these pinched in bowls--perhaps from the pinching-in process).

... a really nice example of classic U.S. Glass craftsmanship.  ... would display very nicely alongside antique EAPG, old carnival glass, and old opalescent glass from such masters as Northwood, Dugan, Westmoreland, Fenton, Jefferson, Imperial, Millersburg, among many others.
