This is a beautiful slipstreamed white Macintyre pottery vase designed and signed by William Moorcroft featuring the pattern "Eighteenth Century" with its garland of red roses, blue forget-me-nots, green swags, and gold trim, circa 1906.

The bottom of the vase (please see photo directly below) includes the printed Macintyre of Burslem, England logo and "M2623 B" in reddish brown, and "W Moorcroft" painted in green script.  These markings and the "Eighteenth Century " pattern indicate that the vase was made circa 1906.




Chip on base.
Condition.  The vase is in great condition save for a chip on the base (please see close-up photo above).  This chip can't really be seen unless one picks up the vase and turns it upside down.  It has the light under-glaze crazing well associated with the older Moorcroft pottery.  The gold trim and colors show no wear.  A really nice find!
